Competed on the track and field team at Norfolk Academy for five seasons... Served as the team captain during her senior year... The Virginia State Champion in the indoor triple jump in 2010... Helped her team to league, conference and state championships... Recorded career-best marks of 34'4.5" in the triple jump, 16'9" in the long jump, 13.2 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 17.4 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles, and 9.6 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles... Coached by Ken Lampert... Also played volleyball in high school.
